Buhari Receives Seven Governors In London

Yari alongside governors of Benue, Borno, Oyo, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, and Kano left Nigerian on Tuesday for London to see the President, who has been out of the country for over 80 days to seek medical attention for undisclosed ailment.

Kpodoh said the various attempts by some opposition governors and politicians to rubbish the president over his ill health and wish him dead were wicked, ungodly and a deliberate display of hatred.

A former security adviser to the Bayelsa state government and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Richard Prekeme Kpodoh, has branded people who criticize evidence of President Buhari's recovery as "Enemies of Nigeria".

"It is better still that, we as members of the opposition party, are among the entourage".

Fayose had addressed reporters a few weeks ago, where he said information at his disposal confirmed that President Buhari had relapsed into a state of coma, adding that this forced his doctors to put him on life support.

However, there were claims that the picture released to show the visit was not original.

On July 11, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo also visited the president in London and reported that he was recuperating fast.

Ajimobi later wrote on his Twitter handle and Facebook page that the President received him and his colleagues warmly.

However, yesterday, the Presidency said Governors elected under the platform of the APC and the PDP will visit Mr Buhari today at about 3pm.
