Microsoft rolls out Surface Plus financing, support programs

Now, Microsoft has made the full range of new Surface Pen colors available for preorder, including Burgundy, Cobalt Blue, and Black options (via MSPU). Microsoft's Surface Laptop, Surface Pro, Surface Book and Surface Studio are all options under the program.

Microsoft always has a collection of deals at this time of the year to assist students however, in addition to the normal collection of stuff they are announcing a new program that can help students begin the year with a new Surface device.

Low monthly payments: Customers can purchase a Surface device with an easy, 24-month payment plan at 0% April.

Visit Microsoft Store website and signup for the offer.

Device upgrades: Customers can upgrade to the latest Surface after just 18 months.

The program also comes with device services and support through Microsoft's retail locations and a year of free in-store technical assistance.

The two plans, Surface Plus and Surface Plus for Business, are available at or at Microsoft stores in the US.

Alternatively, you can visit the physical store in the U.S. to get Surface Plus. If businesses choose the 30-month period, they can upgrade after 18 months. Unfortunately, there is now no information on how the trade-in process works when you're ready to upgrade or if you will receive a purchase credit for the old device. Surface Plus for Business will also let businesses get Office 365 for Business with an additional $8.25 per user per month.

You won't pay any interest, and will just be charged the normal price of the Surface hardware providing you opt for a 24-month payment plan - any longer than a two-year contract and interest kicks in at 19.99% April for subsequent years. The number of devices under the agreement can also change during the middle of the term as well, the post said.

Surface Plus for business adds additional features.
