CHILLS: Rami Malek *Is* Freddie Mercury In New 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Footage

When Rami Malek first signed up as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in Bryan Singer's biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, everyone doubted whether or not he could pull it off.

The actor was linked to the 1970s British rock band when he rocked out to Queen's iconic hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the comedy Wayne's World back in 1992.

He is performing Bohemian Rhaposdy (what else?) with the aid of the also-very-well-cast Gwilym Lee as Brian May, Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor, and Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon.

The short clip filmed from a crowd perspective, shows the Egyptian actor on stage playing piano and apparently miming Bohemian Rhapsody. And since we all know how Malek will look like as Mercury... Rami Malek, who is better known for being the main character on Mr.

As of now, it's not clear what role Mike Myers would be playing, but considering the age of Queen at the time the movie takes place, Myers is far too old to play any of Freddie Mercury's bandmates.

Bohemian Rhapsody, which is being directed by Bryan Singer from a script by Justin Haythe, is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 25, 2018.
