Cruz Says Aide Inadvertently Caused His Porn Twitter Post

Ted Cruz (R-TX) after the GOP leader's Twitter account inadvertently "liked" a porn video Monday night.

Amid his deep-dive lampooning, Kimmel also threw together a fake ad response to the situation that further skewered Cruz.

"This is not how I envisioned waking up this morning", Cruz said.

"It's the second-most embarrassing thing Cruz has been caught liking", he said as the most embarrassing thing the senator likes, Donald Trump, appeared on screen.

"Sexuall Posts", the account that shared the video Cruz liked, has been revelling in the backlash against the former presidential candidate and has made a decision to take advantage of all the attention by pushing merchandise.

Kimmel then went through the possible scenarios of what could have happened.

Their Cruz-porn themed merch includes a mug that reads "MasturbaTed", a t-shirt sporting the senator's face that says "MasterDebater", and a tank top with "Ted's Right Hand Man" sprawled across the front. His Twitter account was hacked. No. 3.

"It was a staffing issue, and it was inadvertent. No. 4, Ted lost the presidential election, he's been bullied by Trump, he didn't get a cabinet position, he's exhausted of being the uptight religious guy from Texas and he just said, 'Screw it, I watch porn in public now this is who I am". "It's part of being a normal human being, which is exactly why we know Ted Cruz didn't do it", he continued".
