Russ' new 10-year extension with Jordan is the most lucrative deal in brand history, ESPN's Nick DePaula reports.

With this new, record breaking contract in hand, Russ will stay a Jordan athlete through the 2025/26 season. The Wasserman Media Group and Westbrook's agent, Thad Foucher, negotiated the shoe contract.

The company wanted to make sure Westbrook was committed long-term to the Jordan Brand before going into full development with these projects themed around the reigning NBA MVP. Still, this investment in Russell Westbrook looks to a massive one, even before we know financial details of what it will resemble - DePaula reported that "Westbrook has been positioned as the face of the brand". Foundation which, "aims to launch even more "reading rooms" and other educational and athletic initiatives for kids in Westbrook's two home bases of Oklahoma City and Southern California". Additionally, this new deal includes an "ambassador clause", which stretches Westbrook and Jordan Brand's partnership after retirement.
