Previously, PC Gamer claimed that the "Star Wars Battlefront 2" will feature a Galactic Assault mode battle between the Separatist battle droids and the Republic clones. Thankfully, Reddit user "Some_Info" has leaked some information which seems legitimate.
The leak also goes into the beta's logistics. This battle was considered as the soul and heart of Star Wars. The latest information leak supports this, adding that players will be able to take part in battles on Strike on Takodana, as well as 24-player space battles in Starfighter Assault on Fondor. Skirmish will contain solo, split-screen and cooperative mode for two players to blast through. Few details apart from the barebones plot for the new single-player campaign and only a couple of videos showing off the game's multiplayer modes have released, seeing EA playing their cards very close to their chest overall. If you don't own the game itself, but want to give it a spin before the imminent release of Battlefront II, it's also going for close to nothing. On the technical side of things, the graphics in the beta will come with "a little improvement" over the one featured at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which is saying something considering that already looked good.
