How to Watch Maryland vs. Ohio State Online

The Buckeyes have outscored the Terps 163-55 in their three meetings that date back to the 2014 campaign.

Maryland football (3-1) battled back on the road to beat Minnesota Golden Gophers and Max Bortenschlager, the man under center for the Terrapins, played mistake-free football. They've done everything they were supposed to do since losing to Oklahoma in the season's second week, showing improvement with each game.

This will be the 200th game as a head coach for Ohio State's Urban Meyer, who has the highest winning percentage among active coaches (.849).

Berry has flipped between offense in defense in his time with Ohio State, initially coming in as a tight end before converting to a defensive end.

Maryland, down to third-team quarterback Max Bortenschlager because of injuries, generated only 66 total yards - 50 rushing and 16 passing. The sophomore was up for the task.

Barrett, a fifth-year senior and holder of most of the school's passing records, was 20 for 31 for 261 yards before taking a seat near end of the third quarter. He also hauled in one 35-yard reception for a touchdown.

"We had some opportunities early in the game where we needed to make a play and respond, and we didn't", Maryland coach D.J. Durkin said. His passes were spot on and mixed with a healthy Mike Weber and the shiftiness of J.K. Dobbins, they moved down the field easily. He scored three touchdowns against Rutgers. Haskins got his first significant playing time against UNLV, where he played a little over two quarters. His biggest problem, outside of his small stature at five-foot-nine, is that although he can play multiple positions, he is behind multiple people in the depth chart at all of them. The Terps came out firing on all cylinders last week after establishing the run on the very first series.

Duplicating that feat will be important, because the less Maryland sees of the Buckeyes' offense on the field, the better. "We are making progress week by week, and I think we are getting better, but I think we still leave too much on the field". Defensive tackle Dre'Mont Jones, who cut himself in a freak locker room accident and had to have stitches last week, will miss a second game.

The Terps ultimately fell by a 49-28 decision, but had the Buckeyes on the ropes at one point. Backup running back Antonio Williams is questionable. That said, the second half had its share of more mistakes.
