"I'm severely sick and came to Gainesville after hours with a 6:30 appointment". Stipe believed she had symptoms of pneumonia, according to the Independent Florida Alligator, the University of Florida's student newspaper. "I know I'm not".
"By 7:45 was not seen still in severe pain and throwing up in the trash can".
Gainesville Police spokesman Ben Tobias confirmed to the media outlet that an investigation was pending.
In his statement, Gallogly says his actions shown in the video were inappropriate.
The video had 250,000 views and almost 4,000 shares on Facebook as of Wednesday.
Jessica Stipe initially posted the one-minute video on her Facebook page on Monday night after she said the doctor yelled at her when she complained she had been waiting at the Gainesville After Hours Clinic, 926 NW 13th St., for an hour and 15 minutes.
"What you saw is what it was", Stipe added. He said that Stipe received her refund but still would not leave.
When Stipe says she wants to go home, the doctor angrily tells her to "get the hell out".
"Then fine", he tells her. "Get the hell out".
He goes on to say she would be waiting far longer if she had gone to another clinic or an emergency room. "Go to the ER and wait for nine hours", the doctor can be heard saying. "I got seven rooms back there", the doctor said.
So he grabbed the phone and began to walk off with it, video shows.
The Gainesville After-Hours Clinic's website said on a since-deleted page that Gallogly graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2001 and completed his residency in family medicine at Alachua General Hospital.
The incident took place Monday in the Gainesville After Hours clinic.
As the video gained steam, Gallogly on Wednesday released a statement, along with statements from his staff and the police report.
Stipe said in the post she was trying to get her co-pay back so she could go home, go back to bed and be seen by another doctor the next day.
He opened the door while continuing to tell Stipe to leave and then noticed her daughter was recording.
Stipe posted another Facebook status yesterday thanking friends for supporting her. "You know this was uncalled for & for those of you who don't and are being rude and hateful to me and my child".
"At the end of the events, I most regrettably lost my temper, and spoke to the women in a most unprofessional manner", Gallogly continued.
