Jennifer Aniston donates $1 million to Hurricane relief efforts

The money will be split in half between the Ricky Martin Foundation for Puerto Rico and the American Red Cross, offering relief to those affected by Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Harvey. On Thursday, Ricky took to Twitter to thank Jennifer for her generous contribution, writing, "Jennifer Aniston U R wonderful".

The Ricky Martin Foundation is coordinating and funding efforts to rebuild the singer's native home of Puerto Rico, whose municipal infrastructure was crippled by Hurricane Maria. The Livin' La Vida Loca hitmaker has been left heartbroken about the state of his native island and recently spoke out about the dire situation Puerto Ricans are now living in.

According to Martin, millions of people in the Puerto Rico area is still in their desperate situations. "We are still dealing with four million USA citizens who have no power after 16 days, no medicine, no water, no baby formula, no diapers".

He included of the edgy circumstance, "People are dying". "I spoke to victims who had to bury their relatives in the backyard because no help came to them after nearly ten days". In an exclusive report obtained by People, the Hollywood actress hopes that other celebrities would also be inspired to help and donate to aid those people who continued to struggle due to lack of resources and supplies.
