The trailer features a closer look at the new Legendary Pokémon forms, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma, including some new, seriously over-the-top, interdimensional Z-Moves that look like they belong in Final Fantasy 12, and a new move for regular Necrozma itself.
As many of you already know, the version mascots for Pokemon UltraSun and UltraMoon are Necromza-corrupted Solgaleo and Lunala. Solgaleo and Dusk Mane Necrozma will learn Searing Sunraze Smash, and Lunala and Dawn Wings Necrozma will learn Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom. UltraSun and UltraMoon will introduce two new Z-Crystals called Solganium Z and Lunalium Z. Both Z-Moves look similar, teleporting the target Pokemon to another dimension to receive a particularly brutal attack. Now they're officially confirmed via an English trailer, which you can check out below.
The trailer also shows some great new features from Rotom and it's not just the ability to use two Z-Moves in one fight. You can now forge a relationship with your Rotom-infused PokeDex, opening the door to a lot of neat abilities. In addition to the ability to use Z-Moves a few times in a battle, Rotom will also give stat, experience, and money boosts as well as faster egg hatching in a fashion similar to the O-Powers of the sixth generation Pokémon titles.
The Pokémon Company has revealed Roto Loto in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, a new feature that will reward players with items as their bond with Rotom deepens. Using a slot machine style, players can earn new items to use like Roto Encounter which helps players find higher level wild Pokemon more often or Roto Hatch which hatches eggs at a faster rate.
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon release on November 17 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
