The couple began their whirlwind romance in September 2014 and Robert Pattinson popped the question just seven months later.

While there have been reports for a few months that said that this couple was headed in the wrong direction, it seems that a source has finally confirmed to The Sun on October 11 that they have officially broken up.

The pair have not been pictured together since May 2017, and last month, FKA twigs - real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett - was seen without her distinctive engagement ring as she sat front row at the Christopher Kane London Fashion Week show.

"They have been nearly inseparable during their first two years together", said a source to the Sun newspaper, which ensures that things went sideways when the two lovers began spending less and less time together.

Jobs of the time overloaded? Rob is exhausted by all of it, has broken off their engagement, and announced to his friends that they had broken.

"With so much history between them, though, there are still strong feelings there", the source added. " Robert was exhausted of the situation, he broke their engagement and said to his friends that they had separated (...) It is a hard situation, but their situation has become unbearable between them for some time and they all know the two that their relationship was not working " she explained. Without Rob, the side on which she had been photographed for the last time in the month of may, during the Cannes film Festival. That said, we should take this new report with a grain of salt, and wait to hear what Robert and/or twigs has to say. The following month, FKA twigs appeared on a walk in the streets of Ibiza in the side of the mannequin French Brieuc Breitenstein. It's possible that busy working scedules are (as usual) to blame - Pattinson recent performance in "Good Times" has sparked awards talk, while Twigs has been busy working on a second album.
