AIADMK Leader Sasikala's Five Days Parole Ends:- The sacked AIADMK leader, VK Sasikala, on Thursday left for Bengaluru by road, to report at the Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara Prison as her parole for visiting her husband in a Chennai hospital, ended on Friday.

Sasikala left Chennai Thursday morning by a auto which had to halt at several locations till it reached the Bengaluru highway as party cadres gathered to greet her.

Sasikala has been lodged in the Parapana Agrahara central jail since February this year after the Supreme Court upheld her conviction by a special court in a disproportionate assets case. On Tuesday, she named two newborn babies- Jayalalithaa and Jayakumar- when their parents requested her to do so.

Shashikala further halted her vehicle at a Ganesha temple and she would offer prayers from her vehicle as Jayalalithaa used to do.

Though Sasikala did not participate in any political activity, her visit to the city triggered reactions in political circles.

"Chinamma (Sasikala) is responsible for AIADMK remaining in power".

While the ruling establishment did not react to his comments, the T T V Dhinakaran camp said "sleeper cells" have begun emerging and lauded him for acknowledging the role of "Chinnamma".

Prison sources said that T T V Dhinakaran, Sasikala's political aide and relative, and her advocate Ashokan accompanied her till the prison gate.
