Avocados are considered pretty healthy already.

Avocados are becoming increasingly popular everywhere, that it's only expected someone actually created a low-calorie version of it. Isla Bonita is launching reduced-fat avocados. It was discovered when 32 different varieties of avocados were analyzed in 6 different countries.

The grower also claims that its product stays ripe longer than a traditional avocado.

From Instagram posts to morning smoothies, you can not seem to escape the avocado in 2017.

According to the company's website, these avocados are grown under unique soil and in special climate conditions, so they have the same nutritional benefits but with lower fat content.

There is a catch however: the new diet avocados that contain 70 per cent of the fat of normal avocados are only available in Spain for now. The avocado's always been touted as a superfood, its monounsaturated fats - the good kind - and other nutrients that may be helping to stave off things like heart disease. "It also contains fiber that could lower cholesterol and help you feel full". "Studies have found that people who consume avocados as part of a balanced healthy diet have smaller waist circumference and are less likely to overeat and are more successful in losing weight and maintaining lost weight". "It reminds me of low-fat peanut butter, which I say is about as good as eating vitamin free vegetables!"
