Chinese smartphone brand ZTE has today launched Nubia Z17S smartphone in China. The Nubia Z17S is company's flagship smartphone, whereas the Nubia Z17 miniS is the successor of Z17 mini, which was launched earlier this year.
Even though that sound a bit ridiculous, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own perspectives, even if they are irrational. The smartphone offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
On the inside, the Nubia Z17S uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8GB of LP-DDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. A 16-megapixel sensor with a secondary 5-megapixel sensor at the front and two 13-megapixel Sony sensors (Monochrome + RGB) with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and NeoVision 7.0. Nubia Z17 miniS consists the same excepting the Corning Gorilla glass covering.
Nubia Z17S comes with a 5.73-inch Full HD+ LTPS display with the resolution of 2040×1080 pixels and 96% NTSC color gamut.
Nubia Z17S specs: Completed with a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor paired with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 sensor at the rear side with dual-tone LED flash and 2x optical zoom.
The smartphone flaunts a metal unibody design and incorporates a fingerprint sensor. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and comes with the company's custom user interface: Nubia UI 5.1. Measuring 147.5 x 71.2 x 7.6mm, the smartphone is backed by a 3200mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type C as connectivity options. To keep the lights on, Z17S has a 3100mAh battery with fast charging support.
The Nubia Z17S is priced at 2999 yuan in China for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. It will be available for sale from October 19 in China. Much like the bigger and more powerful variant, the Nubia Z17 mini S comes in black and blue.
