Keys to Victory in New York Giants' Week 6 Matchup

It was too predictable. Ahead of the meeting, and ahead of the Broncos' Week 6 game against the New York Giants, Marshall spoke to The Denver Post and other local media Friday about the latest developments.

The Broncos will counter with the league's top defense, leading the way in yards per game (260.8) thanks to their shockingly stalwart rushing defense.

"He's a problem", Defensive Coordinator Joe Woods said.

He sweetened his unit by adding an air of mystery.

There are recent examples of the Broncos taking care of business against depleted teams at home, as referenced by 16- and 18-point wins over the Texans and Raiders, respectively, last season. But I don't think they want the players to be a part of it.

The Broncos have forced punts on all four of their opponents' opening drives so far and on all eight of their opponents' possessions in the first quarter.

"We know the Giants are 0-5", Broncos running back C.J. Anderson said. So we get in there and we start speaking and start doing this and it'll be too much riff or too many arguments. And then, we always try to save something for the second half.

"This year, the last three ballgames we lost either in the last seconds of a ballgame or the last series of a ballgame".

Menelik Watson-vs. -anyone will be the particular battle that causes Cris Collinsworth to lavish praises upon a defender. "But, we also know they have Pro Bowl players over there. Give them something different and make them readjust". They've forced five punts, two turnovers on downs and intercepted two passes in addition to allowing a touchdown.

Denver's offense is benefiting from its defensive unpredictability.

This may be the Broncos' stiffest test of the season.

Representatives of the NFLPA will join the league's owners in NY next week to discuss players' national anthem protests. Roger Lewis played all last year, played this year. They think our defense lost its stinger.

This became a widely held assumption after Goodell distributed a memo to all clubs this week that read: "Like many of our fans, we believe that everyone should stand for the National Anthem". Siemian owns the seventh-best QBR in the league on play-action passes this season so it will be important for Denver to establish the run.

"I kneeled past year". I really feel I don't have anything to prove.

"It's just a money thing, " Marshall, the Broncos' three-down inside linebacker, told reporters in front of his locker Friday. I did it when it was not the popular thing to do and I'll definitely continue to do my work in the community with the kids and the things I love to do.

Notes: Last year, the Broncos broadened their annual breast cancer awareness program to include all kinds of cancers, an expansion the National Football League incorporated this season. As for the Giants, it is incredible how quickly the perception of the team has changed. As a result, expect to see the Broncos use a combination of players to defend Engram (safeties Justin Simmons and Will Parks, and cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Bradley Roby immediately come to mind). To fill the spots vacated by Rudolph and Eagan vacated on the practice squad, the Giants signed Darius Powe and Kalif Raymond, a former Bronco.
