Chelsea blow as Zola reveals Morata will skip Roma clash

The Spaniard, a 60 million-pound signing from Real Madrid, could be back for the visit of AS Roma in the Champions League on Wednesday, and based on the evidence so far this season, Chelsea should be a far better team as a result.

Crystal Palace have claimed their first goals and points of the Premier League season thanks to a shock 2-1 win over Chelsea at Selhurst Park. The only words I know in these circumstances are "to work". For this reason we have to put 150 percent in; 100 percent won't be enough. Also we need to understand the situation and to continue to work to find the right solution despite the injuries.

The goal certainly attracted attention from Spurs fans, who may have spent the months leading into the summer hoping that he may be Wembley-bound after helping the Eagles just about stay up last season.

Questions have been raised about the depth of his squad this season and the Italian added: "The situation is very clear and everyone can see that situation. If he plays tomorrow, I'm sure he will be as good as at the start of the season". Now it is another squad, different players and for this reason if we compare last season we didn't play Europa League or Champions League.

The former Juventus coach said the current season will be more hard as unlike last season, the Chelsea players will have to cope with the extra physical and mental burden of competing in domestic tournaments as well as the Champions League.

"This season we are facing four competitions and we are having a few problems doing this".

"He's been a very important player for us".
