It seems that Lenovo-owned Motorola is said to be working on its next generation of G series of smartphones. The company took it to Twitter to confirm the launch of the smartphone on November 13. And much to the delight of geeks, the new Moto X4 also supports Google Assistant as well as Alexa. Amazon has already confirmed that it will be launching Alexa and Echo range of speakers on November 1 with the Indian accent. It comes in single-SIM option in European market, but in India we are expecting a dual-SIM variant of the phone, just like all other Moto smartphones.
The Moto X4 price in Europe was set as Euro 399 (approximately Rs. 30,300). But the price of the Moto X4 in India could be somewhere close to Rs. 25,000, which will be a decent pricing for the smartphone.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 630 octa-core chipset coupled with Adreno 508 along with 3GB of RAM and an onboard storage of 32GB with support for microSD cards. The smartphone is expected to be launched in two color variants, i.e., Sterling Blue and Super Black.
In terms of connectivity, the phone will includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Moto G5S sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. There is also a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device that is embedded under the home button. The primary camera set up comprises of dual set up of one 12-megapixel dual autofocus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and another 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with 120-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is juiced up by a 3000mAh battery with turbo charging. For the front, the Moto X4 sports a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 lens and front LED flash along with a 4-megapixel adaptive low-light mode. The Moto X4 measures 148.35×73.4×7.99mm and weighs 163 grams.
