Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 Launched, Features Rugged Body And Mid-Range Specs

Apparently, Samsung wants to make sure that all the accessories that were suitable for the Galaxy Tab Active will be fully compatible with the sequel.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is also a rugged Android tablet just like its predecessor. Naturally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is designed for those who are into industrial work or for those who go out on remote sites with harsh conditions. It has now only been released in the Netherlands and will be available late November. The device is claimed to function in extreme environmental conditions. The tablet will come with an S Pen stylus and fingerprint scanner, it will also feature a 4450 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an 8-inch LCD (1280 x 800 pixel) display.

Galaxy S8 (Amazon, $639.00) lacks a dual-camera, which is exactly the kind of smart business strategy Samsung laid out in order to force consumers to purchase the Galaxy Note 8 in order to get their hands on exclusive features such as Portrait Mode and optical zoom functionality. The tablet is backed by a 4450mAh battery and offers Bluetooth, LTE, Wi-Fi and Global Positioning System as connectivity options. Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus (64GB variant) were launched at Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively making it a price cut of Rs 4,000 and Rs 6,000 effectively.

Through a software update, the Galaxy S8 could allow users to start blurring the background to improve the image quality thoroughly. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos Series 9 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. However, there is a possibility that both Galaxy A5 and A7 will be using Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset in selected market locations.
