"However, this still reduces the overall number of Resurrects that Mercy can provide, since Valkyrie no longer reduces its cooldown".
A new patch that's now live across Overwatch platforms introduces several changes for some of the game's most popular healers. With the new change, Mercy would need to Resurrect-Ultimate-Resurrect due to the triggering of the Ultimate resetting the ability's cooldown.
After tinkering with the kits and cooldowns for D. Va, Mercy, Lúcio, Roadhog, and Junkrat, the game is potentially the most balanced it's ever been, but that doesn't mean there aren't still changes to make. Instead, Valkyrie provides a second charge of Resurrect, allowing her to potentially resurrect teammates back to back.
The biggest change comes in a new nerf to Mercy, though it can also be seen as a buff for some players.
Finally, an advanced and not particularly intended maneuver in which Mercy could use her teammates to slingshot through the air has been both limited and added to the game as an intended effect.
She can now glide past targeted allies while executing Guardian Angel by using the jump button, while the cooldown won't reset when the Resurrect ability is used.
As for Lucio, his Wall Ride speed has been boosted up to 65 percent, compensating for what was a rather significant bug in previous patches that saw his speed reduced drastically during normal play.
Players can now set their social status to Online, Away, Busy, or Appear Offline (Note: appearing offline does not prevent friends from seeing you if you are placed into the same match).
This change is in response to a recent bug fix that had slowed down Lúcio's Wall Ride ability.
The speed boost that Lúcio receives after completing a wall ride has been increased by 65%. "However, this still reduces the overall number of Resurrects that Mercy can provide, since Valkyrie no longer reduces its cooldown". The charge should be used before Valkyrie ends, however, or else it will disappear. "Guardian Angel", which the medic can use to fly toward a teammate every two seconds, can now be canceled by jumping, much like Widowmaker's hook.
