Legendary batsman Rahul Dravid's U-19 team suffered a stunning loss to Nepal in the ongoing U-19 Asia Cup which is being held at Kuala Lumpur.

Kamal Singh and Sandeep Lamichhance picked up two wickets each for Nepal. It was Nepal's captain who was the all-round star as he collected four-wickets and smashed 88 runs in 101 balls.

Man-of-the-match, Airee's defiance with the bat and ball, single-handedly propelled Nepal to victory over the Indian. Aditya Thakare and Abhishek Sharma took two wickets each, while Vivekanand Tiwari, Mandeep singh, Shiva Singh and Atharva Taide got one wicket each.

Brief scores: Nepal U-19 185/8 in 50 ovs (Dipendra Singh 88) beat India 166 all out in 48.1 ovs (Himanshu Rana 46, Dipendra Singh 4/39) by 19 runs. Had they played out their 50 overs, they should have ideally won.

In reply, India got off to a flying start as the opening partnership contributed 65 runs in pursuit of 189 runs for victory. Apart from Rana, the top-scorer for India, Manjot Kalra made 35 from 69 balls. Nepal's Dipendra Singh rattled the Indian batting line-up with four scalps. Jitendra Singh Thakuri scored a scratchy 36 and Pawan Sarraf and Shahab Alam chipped in with a couple of wickets each, but it was more of an Airee show than anything else.

Nepal, who were defeated by Bangladesh on Saturday, will face the hosts on Tuesday. They lost their first match of the tournament against Bangladesh by 2 runs.
