Every time Apple release a new device, there always a few issues that affect early customers.
OLED burn-in: iPhone X's OLED super retina display was pegged as its leading feature. Following that, new reports have emerged where some users are seeing a green line vertically across the display, while others are facing a crackling or buzzing sound from the phone's earpiece speaker.
This is not the first time iPhone devices faced an issue.
At the moment, it's unclear what causes the issue. Though the problem doesn't appear to be widespread, we've seen complaints about it sprout up on Twitter and on Apple's own support forums. Apple is rumored to be quietly replacing the affected devices. That can be anything from music, to movies, to an App, or even a phone call on loudspeaker. Some users have claimed that it does not go away when the phone is shut off or restored. "This will be addressed in an upcoming software update", Apple told The Loop.
The device is being aggressively trolled for its glitches since it costs more than $1,000 and therefore is expected by users to provide a flawless experience.
A user going hy the handle /u/hasanahmad wrote in the Apple subreddit: "I have to report this".
Apple iPhone X comes with a double speaker front-facing earpiece which combines with the speakers at the bottom of the device to deliver stereo sound. The issue doesn't seem to be connected to any particular type of configuration or iOS version. The iPhone X is also not safe from the drawbacks of such displays.
However, Apple says that it is aware of the issue and is planning a software update to fix the issue in the coming days. Apple's website is now listing the phone as being on back order by three to four weeks. Some Motorola Droid Turbo 2 users also experienced a similar vertical green line issue. One user says the issue is so bad for him that the cracking occurs even around 50 percent volume. The problem wasn't visible when they first got the iPhone X, and only appeared suddenly. Let us know down in the comments. I even got my phone replaced yesterday, but the new unit has the same issue.
