Xbox One X first week sales equal those of Nintendo Switch

This was, reportedly, the same amount the Nintendo Switch did during its debut back in March.

The Xbox One X just came out and it has already sold 80,000 units in the first week in the UK.

It is more than likely that this bundle will be restocked in the upcoming weeks in order to compete with the Xbox One X. You still need to buy games on the Xbox One X in order to take advantage of the superior hardware that it has to offer. Stock shortages of both PS4 Pro and Nintendo Switch will have affected their sales performance.

Microsoft's Xbox One X console is going down very well in the UK.

Beyond that, it was revealed that the Second World War inspired Call of Duty game, which launched last week, was the best-selling title on Xbox One, beating out games such Assassin's Creed Origins, and Federation Internationale de Football Association 18.

According to GfK Chart-Track's retail sales data, all four of the aforementioned games featured in the top five best-selling Xbox One games at retail last week.

Based on their first-look which is based on the campaign, it seems that the main difference would be the clarity of images, where they found that the Xbox One X was capable of rendering more pixels more of the time, although given the fast-paced nature of the game, we're not sure if this is something that players will notice. Sadly, its sounds like no official Xbox One X bundles will be released anytime soon. Hopefully Microsoft considers making bundles for the new console next year instead.

It's no secret that the Xbox One X was looking to gain traction with consumers - analysts in the United Kingdom have increased sales forecasts, after strong interest in pre-orders for the device globally.
