Xiaomi has slashed the price of the best seller Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 by Rs. 1000. It seems that Xiaomi is conducting special sale well ahead of the upcoming thanksgiving day. Xiaomi recently launched its Redmi Y1 and the Redmi Y1 Lite smartphones in India. The Redmi Y1 comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants, which are priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively. Xiaomi is now offering two versions of the Note 4 in the Indian market, one of which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the other packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The 2GB RAM paired with 32GB storage is available for Rs. 8999 but the device is out of stock. Starting from today until November 15, the smartphone will be available at the discounted price via Flipkart and Mi.com. The smartphone ships with a special night reading mode and the capability to adjust the temperature. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC and runs on Android Nougat. The smartphone was launched in two variants in India based on RAM and inbuilt storage. The 32GB model is also available in 2GB RAM, which will be useful for senior citizens for basic operations. It is yet to be seen whether the Redmi Note 4 being sold via offline stores like Xiaomi's own Mi Homes will be subject to a similar price cut. The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. A massive 4,100mAh battery completes the list of the specs. The selfie camera slot includes face recognition functionality, which will enable you to capture images easily. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G LTE, VoLTE (voice over LTE), hybrid dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR blaster, USB OTG, and Global Positioning System.

Flipkart is also offering 5% discount on payments with Axis bank Buzz credit cards. However, there is a catch to this "exchange offer".
