A heartwarming moment between a Walmart cashier and a customer shows a little patience and understanding can make all the difference.
When a customer approached the checkout lines of a Mississippi Walmart to pay with change, a cashier helped calm the man as he nervously counted his coins.
An older man had his items scanned and was given a total by the cashier.
MS resident Spring Bowlin was waiting in the checkout line at her local Walmart when she said her "heart was warmed". "Gives me a muttered, 'I'm so sorry.' His hands and voice are shaking", writes Bowlin.
The gentleman continued to apologize to Bowlin and the cashier, but the two reassured him there was no rush and it was okay. Then, they counted the change together.
"This is not a problem, honey".
The photo has been shared on Facebook more than 22,000 times. "Always", says one Facebook user on the post. "What's wrong with our world is we've forgotten how to love one another", she said, according to the post.
The cashier the replied, "You shouldn't have to thank me, baby". After the transaction was complete, Bowlin said she turned to the cashier and said,"Thank you for being so patient with him".
