Aside from Damon, the trailer was packed with other celebrities, such as #JenniferAniston (Laser Lass), Jason Bateman (Bendolite), Zack Galifanakis (Super Duck), Billy Crudup (Color Kid), Shaquille O'Neal (Spire), Ty Burrell (Mirgiv), fellow Batman #WillArnett (Meinstrom), Jon Hamm (Lucky Lad), Cousin Sal (Super Sal), #BenAffleck (Muscle Man), and Wanda Sykes (The Bleach Master). While Affleck is starring in an upcoming comic book movie where he earnestly recruits a team of superpowered individuals to save the world, it doesn't feel quite as...terrific as the trailer that he and Abrams debuted Monday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Affleck and Garner will be reuniting with Affleck's mom and his brother Casey Affleck for a Thanksgiving holiday at his best friend Matt Damon's house, and it all sounds like the stuff of A-list family dreams.
"Listen, this is an up-and-down business", Affleck joked.
Yep, I'm not at all surprised that Matt Damon played the ultimate bad guy in Kimmel's story. Unfortunately, there's no real word on whether they include his ex, Jennifer Garner (come on, you know there's still a tiny part of you hoping they reconcile).
Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions. Unbelievable. Thank you, J.J. Abrams, thank you, Ben Affleck.
While it's probably safe to say that we're all unbelievably pumped for this weekend's release of the Justice League movie, it's interesting to note that some other DC trivia is being brought to light that's entirely separate from the big team-up flick. "The characters really spoke to me, and they demanded to be brought to life", Abrams said.
