Pokemon GO Adds Alola Outfits to Celebrate Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Earlier today, the Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon Go now has avatar clothing items based off of outfits worn by the player characters in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Pokemon Go also released a special hat based on Mimikyu, one of the Pokemon that first appeared in Pokemon Sun and Moon previous year, during their Halloween event. Both the male and female versions of the Pokemon GO avatar have unique sets of clothes they can equip, though their tropical theme may look a bit odd in the coming winter months. After all, some fans had expressed disappointment that Pokemon GO seemed to be ignoring the launch of the two games, and while some may have preferred a special event, these free clothes are better than nothing.

Nintendo's latest trailer for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon is all about the tease, especially that of the form of Dusk Mane Necrozma or of Dawn Wings Necrozma, depending on which Legendary Pokemon you get from your game. They're made to remind the user that there are other Pokemon games out in the universe, new games, games that they should also be buying as soon as they can.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon make their big release on November 17.

Pokemon Go has stepped up its synergy with the rest of the Pokemon franchise this year.

Pokemon gamers are in for a treat. Pokemon Go is getting a surprise crossover with Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon.
