TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO has caused outrage amongst Chelsea fans after comparing himself to N'Golo Kante.

But Bakayoko, a £40 million summer signing from Monaco, believes his France and Chelsea teammate does not offer more than him on the pitch.

The defending Premier League champions signed Bakayoko in a £40m deal from Ligue 1 holders AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.

Bakayoko has made 15 appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in all competitions.

However, Bakayoko was omitted from Didier Deschamps' recent France squad ahead of next summer's World Cup in Russian Federation. I was a fan of Chelsea, Drogba is a friend. However, Bakayoko has also stated his respect for the manager's decision and has stated his desire to be with his countrymen.

The 23-year-old was left out of manager Didier Deschamps' France squad for the current worldwide break and was also not involved for the pair of World Cup qualifiers in October.

Bakayoko has made a positive impact at Chelsea so far. "I believe in this World Cup, it's still my goal".

"I feel Rabiot, Kante, Matuidi, Tolisso are not better than me". "I respect the coach's choices and I also respect the players selected". I am proud that they are selected, I would like to be with them. I play for a big club; I think that can work in my favour. I'd like to be with them.

All facts into consideration, Kante is far better than Bakayoko by any measure. His successes has attracted interest in him from all over Europe, however, he has chosen to stay with the Blues and with Antonio Conte.

Bakayoko's arrival resulted in Nemanja Matic's sale to title rivals Manchester United back in August.
