Parents: Missing Florida teen believed to be with family friend

Her name is Caitlyn Frisina, and deputies said she left her home on her own, leaving behind her phone that had been fully erased.

A 17-year-old female reported as missing from Columbia County, Florida may be in the company of a local boys' soccer coach, according to the county sheriff's office.

Authorities believe the two could be in a red Mercury Sable. The last action taken by the teen that was traceable was a $200.00 withdrawal made by Frisina across the Georgia state line.

"We don't care why she left".

Caitlyn Frisina, an avid soccer player, has been missing since Sunday. We just want to know that she's safe.

"It was real shock when I went in to get 'em up Sunday morning and she was gone", her mother Scarlet Frisina told First Coast News.

Rodriguez was the Columbia County School District's head boys' soccer coach, but the district said "Rodriguez has been suspended pending the investigation", according to WTLV. We just can't imagine what in the world is going on'. "We miss you, pumpkin, and we love you, and we want to hear from you". "Please let us know that you're ok", she continued. And we want you to come back home'.

The district has since released a statement saying they have suspended Rodriguez pending the investigation.

It added Rodriguez - despite his current whereabouts being unknown - "will be restricted from all contact with students".
