Glee star Naya Rivera files for divorce

It comes just two months after Rivera called off their divorce proceedings when the pair - who Wednesday in 2014 - reconciled following their split in November 2016.

As we reported, over Thanksgiving weekend, Naya Rivera was arrested on November 25 for domestic battery after allegedly hitting husband Ryan Dorsey in the head and on the bottom lip while on a walk with their son Josey.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Rivera filed the divorce docs on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The Glee actress had previously filed for divorce in November 2016, but she withdrew the application and they made peace.

Rivera is requesting joint legal and physical custody of Josey Hollis Dorsey, the couple's 2-year-old child.

Dorsey released a statement on Twitter at the time, asking for "privacy" at the time. And this interesting development comes days after she was arrested and charged for beating up her husband in his hometown in Chesapeake, West Virginia. Perhaps with kindness, respect, without judgement, and as negative a situation like this is, with positivity and love. In the new divorce papers, Rivera lists their official date of separation as November 24th.

"This is a hard time for everyone in the family especially for Naya and I", Dorsey said in a statement.
