Pokemon from the Hoen region are about to find their way into our world with the rollout of pocket monsters from Generation III in Pokemon GO. In the first part, as much as 50 new Pokemon will be added to the game's database starting this week. After all, those game introduced an entirely new weather system to the game that drastically changed the functionality of Pokemon's worlds.
The developers of the game have now released a video for the update, which you can see below, the update also brings a range of other new features to the game. As far as the dynamic real-world weather system is concerned, it will mimic the individual player's local weather conditions in the game environment thereby giving a more realistic touch to the gaming interface. Additionally, attacks of certain types will be more effective during some weather conditions, so a Charizard's Fire Spin will perform better on sunny days, for example. These creatures were originated from "Pokemon Ruby" and "Pokemon Sapphire". But from now on, Pokemon GO players will need to get a little more hardcore if they want to catch 'em all.
Going on IGN to discuss some of Pokemon Go's newest features, Niantic's marketing lead, Archit Bhargava, went on to assure fans that the company still had plans to incorporate PvP and trading in Pokemon Go. Instead, they will be released gradually in due course.
It can't be a coincidence that Niantic is choosing to add dynamic weather to Pokemon GO at the same time that they are adding Pokemon from Ruby and Sapphire. Similarly, PvP battles are also still planned for the game, but it's anyone's guess as to when they will finally be added.
