Jamia student found dead near friend's house in Sarojini Nagar


Shareef Khan, the father of the deceased, said that his son had left the house at 12.30 am in his auto with '2 lakh cash in a bag.

According to Baaniya, it is unclear what happened between the time he left his friend's house and when his body was found. No suicide note has been recovered so far, the police said. He also told HT that it was unclear why he left the bag with cash at his friend's house.

According to police, the incident came to light after a PCR call was received at 10.20 am regarding a body being found inside a vehicle in GI Block of Saojini Nagar.
