Comedian Hannibal Buress was arrested in Miami early Sunday, .
'Am I under arrest? "Explain what I'm detained for?"
Despite being told that he was being arrested for trespassing, Burress, who was booked into a Miami-Dade jail at 1:57 a.m., was never charged for that alleged crime.
"What am I detained for?" Buress can also be seen telling the police "you know you look goofy as f-k right now".
The officers advise him that they suspect him of trespassing, although no trespassing charge was later filed against him.
Luckily for Buress, he was released on a $500 bond around 6:00am this morning.
"Explain what I'm detained for", Hannibal Buress asks Miami police officers repeatedly as he leans against a police auto while handcuffed.
Footage of the arrest was circulating on social media, with Buress asking what he was being arrested for. Miami is playing host to celebrities from all over the globe for Art Basel-related parties.
The video, which went viral last night and sparked the #FreeHannibalBuress tag, raises some unanswered questions for MPD. He has appeared in several TV shows and movies including Broad City and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
