Leonard Fournette out with ankle and quad injuries vs. Texans

Despite not practicing all week due to a quad injury, Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is nearly certainly correct when he predicts he will play.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Fournette would not be available to the Jaguars in Week 15 due to ankle and quad injuries.

The Jaguars may just be managing Fournette's reps to ensure he's good to go on Sunday. On Friday, Fournette was listed as questionable after missing the entire week's slate of practices. Fournette remained in the game and ran for 101 yards and a touchdown.

Fournette rushed for 100 yards in the Jaguars' 29-7 victory over Houston in both teams' regular-season opener. Houston's defense is a mess right now, outside of the play of Jadeveon Clowney.

As you might remember, Leonard Fournette missed two games in three weeks in the middle of the season.

The injuries to Hurns and Pinkard leave the Jaguars with four healthy wide receivers: Lee, rookie Keelan Cole, rookie Dede Westbrook and first-year veteran Jaydon Mickens. He also sat out a game because of a violation of team rules. These players work hard. "They know it's something we have to do to perform well on Sunday".
