This begins with an an all-new colour variant and dual SIM version of BlackBerry KEYone - Bronze Edition - to be released in the United Kingdom and other select markets across Europe, Asia and the Middle East in Q1. As part of the same announcement, TCL did highlight how since its first release in early 2017 the BlackBerry KEYone has become available in more than fifty countries around the globe.
Announced previous year, the BlackBerry Motion is a full-touch device with a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 display, 12MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash, and 8MP front camera with wide angle lens.
In fact, the global rollout continues with variants of BlackBerry KEYone newly released in Mexico and South Korea. The GSM unlocked model will be sold by Amazon and Best Buy for $449.99. It will be available in select markets across Asia, Europe and the Middle East and will come with dual-SIM support for some of those markets.
Additionally, it comes packed with all the security, productivity and reliability features that have made BlackBerry KEYone such a distinctly different smartphone.
TCL said today that it's got two new BlackBerry smartphones coming in 2018.
And while BlackBerry didn't have any news as to a followup for its flagship model at CES this year, the company did come with a pair of smaller announcements: U.S. availability for the full touchscreen BlackBerry Motion, which was announced back in October, and a new bronze color of the KeyOne.
The handset will be available direct from BlackBerry in the United States from this Friday the 12th of January and it costs $450.
"BlackBerry phones are the world's most secure Android smartphones because we've designed security into every possible piece of software", added Alex Thurber, SVP and GM of Mobility Solutions, BlackBerry. There's also USB-C and NFC in there, and like the Motion, the KEYone comes with Android 7.1 but will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo.
