Users just need to tap on display and it recognizes smartphone through one-touch fingerprint scanning directly on the smartphone display. Future smartphones are also expected to follow the same trend in such a way that users don't encounter any difficulty while unlocking their smartphones. It initially showcased this phone back in June 2017 Shanghai at MWC 2017.
After an entire year of speculation about whether Apple or Samsung might integrate the fingerprint sensor under the display of their flagship phones, it is actually China's Vivo that has gotten there first.
Supported by global partner Synaptics, the technology supports various usage scenarios beyond unlocking the smartphone - from performing an unlocking to mobile payment and other operations.
