Airtel offers free Amazon Prime membership to postpaid, broadband users

The users need to activate the offer exclusively via their Airtel TV app after which they will be able to access Amazon Prime Video via the app on supported devices.

Bharti Airtel and Amazon India have joined hands to ring in an entertaining new year for customers.

Amazon Prime Video has a vast library of entertainment content and it is a part of Amazon Prime membership at Rs 999.

Airtel is providing its postpaid and V-Fiber broadband customers a free 1-year subscription of Amazon Prime service on downloading the app. Once the credentials are verified, the free 365-day Amazon Prime subscription will start and you will be informed of the same via SMS and email. Now, open the Airtel TV app and login with your Airtel number. Here are the steps to avail your prime subscription if you are using infinity plan. For details on eligible plans, customers can visit www.airtel.in/broadband. This promotional offer will not only provide users with yet another platform on which to watch movies and TV shows, but also help compete with and its assorted movie streaming and live TV apps. Similarly, Amazon customers on free trial of the service can avail the offer, but then their subscription will be bound by Airtel's rules. "We think subscribers will love the many benefits of Prime, including the latest binge-worthy Amazon Prime Video content, unlimited free fast delivery on millions of items, exclusive deals on top products, and more", said Akshay Sahi, Director and Head of Amazon Prime India.

Airtel had infinity plans of Rs. 499, Rs. 799 and Rs.1,199 in which the users get 30GB, 50GB, and 75Gb data respectively. After that, click on the special Airtel - Amazon digital card which is available only to eligible Airtel customers.

Amazon Prime, which entered countries including Mexico, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Singapore previous year, now is present in 16 countries around the world.
