In a night full of glamour, shining women and men, stunning appearances on the red carpet and of course many winners, the glorious ceremony was the trending topic in social media and fashion blogs during the whole night of its transmission. Of course, these Golden Globes were far from ideal.
Oldman had never won a Golden Globe in his 40 year career, so it's encouraging to see him finally lift some gold but there are questions as to whether this is the Oldman performance that deserved to break his awards duck.
