Here are the bullet points from the Fortnite update.
A new developer update for Fortnite's Battle Royale mode is up on Youtube and is one that you don't want to miss.
A bunch of new points of interest and even a brand-new city are coming in the next update, as well as quality of life changes and general updates.
According to Williamson, the Fortnite Battle Royale Map Update must happen since the island on which the 100 players are competing seems to have fewer points of interest in certain places than it should, especially around the western side of the map.
More specifically Eric highlighted a number of key changes from the new points of interest as well as more work on making the map feature more different biomes. "Really, the different areas of the map feel more unique", he explained.
Williamson also shared that certain areas of the map are about to become more clearly defined once the new update is applied.
Epic says that this Fortnite update should drop sometime next week, and if they follow their usual pattern, full patch notes will be available a couple of days before the update actually releases. This is largely prompted by the game's free price tag, alongside Epic Games' regular weekly updates ensuring the game is as polished as can be.
