Buxar: Bharatiya Janata Party suspects RJD's involvement in the attack on Nitish Kumar convoy on Friday. The chief minister was at Nandan and Ahinaura as part of his state-wide Vikas Sameeksha Yatra. "Although, the security persons have received some injuries in the attack", officials quoted as saying.
Nitish Kumar is now on a statewide tour called "Vikas Samiksha Yatra" from December 12 to take a first-hand account and review the progress made in various districts on development schemes launched by his Government. A probe has been ordered in the matter to learn the real reason behind the attack. As soon as the CM's convoy started, the protesters started throwing stones at the vehicles.
The chief minister was unharmed.
Earlier, Nitish Kumar was shown black flags and he had to pass through anti-party slogans during his last public meetings.
"I am not the one who runs the government sitting in the state capital". He added that his governments' work for the state's development has been a hurdle for the people with selfish interests. I want to see the condition of roads, power situation, drinking water facilities in each village.
Kumar laid the foundation stone for schemes worth Rs 168 crore in Buxar's Nandan along with another Rs 228 crore invested in over 60 schemes in Kamur district's Ahinaura village on Friday.
