Chelsea are winless in their last three games in all competitions following a goalless draw with Championship side Norwich City in the FA Cup third round at Carrow Road last weekend.
The Premier League is back this weekend which would usually fill me with delight after an average weekend of FA Cup betting - but then I took a look at the fixtures.
I was going to leave Bristol City out this weekend because they could well be exhausted from their near-heroic exploits at Man City on Tuesday, but they're odds against at home to an inconsistent Norwich side which has tempted me to back them to win or draw.
After four wins in December, Leicester City have arguably lost their way.
"It is possible for Chelsea to play every two or three days".
Chelsea have no fresh injury concerns and a full squad to choose from, with the exception being new signing Ross Barkley, who is now ruled out due to a lack of fitness, so won't be making his Blues debut just yet.
Whilst Antonio Conte's men have not managed to notch their first victory of 2018 yet, the champions have been in exemplary form. However defensive trio Robert Huth, Wes Morgan and Danny Simpson are all missing through respective problems. West Brom, who have gone 20 league matches without a win, have only scored 16 goals all season and they come up against a Brighton side that has failed to score in eight of their 11 away games.
Riyad Mahrez has been directly involved in 14 goals (7 goals, 7 assists) after 22 Premier League games this season; nine more than he had managed after as many games in 2016-17 (five - three goals, two assists).
Before I watched the Carabao Cup semi-final with Arsenal I would have said Chelsea would win this 3-0, but I'm not so sure now. The Foxes have also lost 12 of their last 14 games against the Blues, and away to "big six" sides they haven't won in 12 games and have lost five on the spin.
"I think we need to have patience with him".
