Toyota will bring Alexa to its United States cars this year

The fusions of two globally recognized brands in the world are looking to collaborate to bring us another technological advancement in the automobile world and market. Overall, this isn't a bad move by Toyota and it will make their cars more attractive to the scores of Alexa users out there.

It is reported that certain models of Toyota and Lexus will get integration with Amazon Alexa in the current year.

Toyota said on Tuesday that it will be deploying Alexa beginning with its Entune 3.0 App Suite and Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0 vehicle system software updates for select 2018 model year vehicles later in 2018, giving USA customers access to Alexa while on the go.

Just which Toyota and Lexus models will have Amazon Alexa hasn't been announced, the automaker told The Car Connection in an email. The exorbitant vehicle is expected to provide on-demand offices with office sharing capabilities and uses guardian technology - to act as a safety net.

Alexa capability allows Prime subscribers to communicate with cloud-connected home devices in addition to handling typical in-vehicle requests like music playlists or audiobook selections. This includes; Panasonic, Byton (electric auto manufacturer) and Garmin.

These companies will allow Alexa into their vehicles or integrating the voice service into the connectivity systems that link customers' cars and mobile phones.

As with HP, the Pavilion Wave will be the first to come designed specifically with offerings for voice interactions via Amazon Alexa.

"It's still really day one for us in terms of what we can do with Alexa in the vehicle", said John Scumniotales, head of products for Alexa's automotive efforts, onstage at an event at CES.

So what's with the fuzz of Amazon Alex been integrated into Toyota cars? Additional hands-free commands will also be enabled to let users perform multiple operations using the personal assistant from Amazon.
