White House doc: Trump in 'excellent health'

We were not shocked by the word President Trump is said to have used when he called immigrants from poor countries undesirable.

Trump had made headlines on Thursday by using an insensitive term "Sh**hole" for Haiti, El Salvador and unspecified African countries.

Durbin, the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate, called the White House to tell Trump that a bipartisan group of senators had struck a deal to put Dreamers on a path to citizenship, beef up border security and take other steps to change immigration laws.

Trump has essentially told the world that we didn't really mean it when we said that we were a different kind of nation - one built on ideas and not on blood.

This would leave open the possibility of Vice President Mike Pence invoking the 25th amendment, thus setting up a Constitutional crisis that could land Trump out of the White House with sufficient Congressional approval. Former Fox anchor Bill O'Reilly wrote that the "Trump-loathing media" is dancing in the streets over his words. The American Heart Association has said the best types of exercise increase the heart rate and make a person breathe heavily, but that activities like golf don't provide as much cardiovascular benefit since they don't require much extra effort. Sanders said at the time that the president was simply thirsty, calling questions about his health "ridiculous".

Norwegians have also been tweeting about why they will not be moving to the United States. "I think it fundamentally poisons the relationship with numerous countries". A list maintained by the Washington-based American Foreign Service Association says eight such posts are vacant. "The president and all those attending the meeting know what I said and how I feel", Graham said, adding: "I've always believed that America is an idea, not defined by its people but by its ideals".

In September 2016, two months before the November 2016 presidential election, Trump released a five-paragraph letter from his long-time physician, Dr Harold Bornstein, who concluded that Trump "is in excellent physical health".

During the moment of silence in the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince, President Jovenel Moise placed the first stone for the construction of a new National Palace, which was destroyed in the quake, after denouncing Trump's comments as "racist" earlier Friday.

Florida GOP Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen said Trump's comments were "completely unacceptable", telling WPLG-TV in Miami that "if that's not racism, I don't know how you can define it". "Our AU Presidents must respond strongly to this insult", he tweeted.

"The Government of Botswana is wondering why President Trump, must use this descriptor and derogatory word, when talking about countries with whom the USA has had cordial and mutually beneficial bilateral relations for so many years", the Botswana government said in a statement condemning his remarks.

But his political rise was fueled in part by the inaccurate claim that Barack Obama, the nation's first black president, wasn't born in the United States.

In an afternoon of drama and confusing developments, four other GOP lawmakers - including hardliners on immigration - were also in Trump's office for Thursday's meeting, a development sources said Durbin and Graham did not expect.
