The Will & Grace team recently confirmed the development and shared a picture of the crew with Jennifer welcoming her.
She'll be pulling double-duty, actually, guest-starring as both herself and her Shades of Blue character, Detective Harlee Santos.
And Mullally reposted Lopez's selfie on her personal account, remarking on Jenny from the Block's flawlessness. She invited Jack to be her backup dancer on her tour and sang at Karen and Lyle's wedding.
Originally, Lopez appeared on the show as herself.
NBC are yet to have revealed further details about what Jennifer will get up to in her forthcoming "Will & Grace" cameo.
Meanwhile, "Will & Grace" Season 9 picked up the sitcom 11 years after the original run, and it continues Thursdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
Will U tune in when the episode finally airs?? In addition to the police drama "Shades of Blue", she also executive produces and serves as a judge on the dance competition series "World of Dance", which was renewed for a second season last summer.
