Bournemouth stun Arsenal to add to Gunners' woes

The Londoners fell 1-2 to Bournemouth, continuing a run of bad results and now find themselves stuck on the sixth position, six points adrift from Liverpool, who lie 4th, with a match to play with the leaders, Manchester City later today.

Gunners boss Wenger believes Sanchez could even yet still stay at Arsenal, even though he has refused to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring in the summer.

"I still don't know what is going to happen".

Although the Gunners looked nervous they still looked the most unsafe in the first half, and when Bellerin gave us the lead just after the break it looked like we were finally going to win a game at last.

Admittedly, Wenger fielded their youngest team in the league for five years but that will come as little consolation - especially if Sanchez is on his way out of the Emirates. As he disappears down the track back to the main building, the game resumes, life goes on, but everyone has been given a taste of what it will be like when the best player in the club finally walks out for good. That's why I decided not to do it.

"In this kind of period we try to use the players completely focused on being at the club". It was a lack of the right decision-making.

A competitive but less than thrilling first half saw both sides threaten without carving up many clear-cut chances - Ainsley Maitland-Niles coming closest to a breakthrough with a shot against the woodwork early on. I'm concerned when it matters we are not unsafe enough.

"In this division if you can get two or three wins your whole outlook can change, then if you get two or three defeats it all changes, we have just tried to be very stable".

Eddie Howe hailed Bournemouth's resolve in turning the game around as the Cherries climbed to 13th in the table.

"Last season I was on the bench but remember it being a really good game, we were 3-0 down and had to come back", Holding told Arsenal's official website. "We suffered a lot in the first half and at the start of the second half", Conte said.

I feel overall physically it was a tough game for us. "That would be unsafe".
