Asked if he was serious about endorsing a TV Celebrity instead of a candidate with governing experience, Spielberg said he wants "the next president to be a president of the people".

The White House has already chimed in on Monday, welcoming Winfrey as a potential Trump rival. "Oprah would always be my first choice", he told Larry King back in 1999.
