President Donald Trump is hosting a party at his Mar-a-Lago resort to mark the first anniversary of his inauguration this weekend, and tickets aren't cheap, starting at $100,000 a pair. The couple will spend the weekend in Mar-a-Lago, CNN reported.

Bloomberg reports that the event is being jointly hosted by Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel and billionaire casino mogul Steve Wynn, and proceeds from the event will benefit Trump's presidential campaign and the RNC.

The Federal Government officially shut-down at midnight Friday night, and now lawmakers are all pointing fingers.

"He's not leaving until this is finished", Trump's budget director, Mick Mulvaney, told reporters outside the White House on Friday.

"I mean, some of the timing and logistics of travel will have to reflect the reality, but we expect it to be passed".

Vice President Mike Pence is also scheduled to leave Washington Friday evening for his three-country swing to the Middle East. Pence will go to Egypt, Israel and Jordan.

President Trump will remain in Washington until a spending bill passes the Senate, the White House said early Friday.

The mix of Democrats and Republicans in the Senate who opposed the House bill for varying reasons left the legislation on the verge of defeat.

Republicans and Democrats are at loggerheads over a solution that would protect almost 700,000 younger immigrants from being deported. "That is why we need to win more Republicans in 2018 Election!"
