See 'Get Out' for free in theaters this Presidents Day

In order to honor the film for its many successes, on the film's one year anniversary, Universal Pictures is re-releasing Get Out in select AMC Theaters on President's Day, February 19, for free. The director said he wanted to "give back" to fans by offering a second chance to see the movie on the big screen.

This is a pretty brilliant gesture, as there's nothing quite like seeing Get Out in a packed theater-especially if the folks in attendance haven't seen it before. "It's all about that theatrical experience, so please go".

Jordan Peele and Universal Pictures are offering fans free tickets to special Presidents' Day screenings of Academy Award nominated film Get Out.

Tickets for the screenings, which will take place at 7 p.m. around the country, "will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and may only be picked up at the AMC box office that day", according to AMC.

The Feb. 19 freebie comes nearly exactly a year after the movie was first released. Lauderdale, FL; Minneapolis, MN; Nashville, TN; New Orleans, LA; New York City, NY; Oklahoma City, OK; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh/Durham, NC; San Diego, CA; San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, CA; Seattle/Tacoma, WA; St. Louis, MO; Tallahassee, FL; Tampa, FL; and Washington, D.C. You can find more information here. It's now up for four Oscars, including a best director nod for Peele and best picture.
