Allegiant will offer flights to the Destin/Fort Walton Beach airport beginning June 7.
The Las Vegas-based company is investing more than United States dollars 49 million to establish a year-round base of operations, which will house two Airbus aircraft.

This is in addition to the nonstop flights Allegiant already offers to seven other locations - Daytona, Fort Lauderdale, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Fort Myers, Savannah, Tampa and St. Petersburg.
As part of today's celebration, Allegiant announced new, seasonal service to five cities, bring the total number of cities with service to the Emerald Coast to 21.
Destin, Fla. - An airline that flies out of the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport made a big announcement Tuesday. One-way fares on the new route will cost as little as $46. Walton Beach, and we know they will be thrilled to have this low-priced access to the region.
