Chelsea have been dealt a major blow in their bid to strengthen their squad in the summer after long-term target Arturo Vidal revealed that he was happy at his current club, European giants Bayern Munich.
The Chile worldwide was linked with a move to Old Trafford before joining the Bundesliga giants in 2015, is now hopeful of extending his stay at the Allianz Arena.
But the 30-year-old has no plans to leave the Allianz Arena and would consider an extension to his contract, which expires in 2019.
'I do not think about a change, I feel really good here'.
Vidal has scored six times in 28 games for Bayern so far this season, helping his side carve out an 18-point lead at the summit of the Bundesliga.
"Of course I would like to extend my contract".
"I'm pleased that Bayern have put their faith in me and I can help this great club in the coming years to achieve its aims", the goalkeeper told Bayern's official website.
"I am very happy that Bayern will continue to rely on me in the future, giving me the trust to reach the club's goals in the next few years".
"The United States is home to our very first worldwide office, highlighting our commitment to engaging and growing FC Bayern's fan base in the Americas", said FC Bayern Munich's Executive Board Member for Internationalization and Strategy, Jörg Wacker.
Mourinho has been linked with Shakhtar Donetsk star Fred, who is also being tracked by Manchester City.
"This season especially, he's played a massive part hunt for the title, as well as our continued progress in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal".
