Karius and Simon Mignolet have battled to be Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper under manager Juergen Klopp but inconsistent performances by both shotstoppers have led the German boss to rotate them constantly.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted uncertainty about the future of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Klopp's next move in the transfer market is going to be an interesting watch.
There was a switch at the turn of the year, when Karius played in the league and Mignolet had the two FA Cup ties against Everton and West Brom but there will not be a switch in Portugal.
The 24-year-old has come in for stinging criticism at times during his brief career at Anfield but his form in recent weeks has been much more polished and there is no doubt he has the full backing of Klopp.
"Of course he has to adapt a bit because our style is so different".
"To be honest I have not made the final decision but it is not the same situation as it was", Klopp said. We defend high. He needs to get used to Dejan (Lovren) and Joel (Matip).
"... I have had a lot of experience but it definitely helps when you play regularly instead of coming in and out of the team". "I enjoy every day of being here as it's a great club".
